India are all but out of the World Cup after losing to Sri Lanka by 69 runs in their concluding Group B match in Port of Spain, Trinidad, on Friday.
I have nothing to say lost Friday nights sleep ( nothing new ) lost the passion to see the whole world cup only bcoz 11 passionless players with no attitude to play aggressive cricket @ all .we have been boasting Our batting line up that its one of the best batting line up in this world cup, ya true only on papers not when it comes 2 matches, our team has three players who have scored more than 10,000 runs in International cricket were not able 2 bat 50 overs twice in three matches against two teams which come from sub-continent,this has been dismal performance from the Indian cricket team . The loss of the Indian team is unbearable bcoz zillions of people might have glued to the Television sets to see India win , but the Players played as though they are playing for some toffee not trophy .Million hope sank when Indian team lost the match against SriLanka who played very well 2 beat every one in the group . I never found Indian Team Showing any kinda passion for the game even after loosing to teams like Bangladesh. Indian team is expected to beat teams like Bangladesh at least , even after loosing to Bangladesh the whole nation supported the team expecting them to win against Srilanka, but our so called great batting line was not even able to chase a moderate score of 255.
I do not understand at all, most of the team being senior specialists , with volumes of records and stats which can be remembered only if u have an external memory card other than your brain . Indian team is like Real Madrid, all stars but no guarantee of a victory over any side,wish in cricket the teams could trade /import/export the players like in league football, BCCI being the richest board and members who are very good at trade could have easily brought all players with match winning capabilities and sold over sum hyped gods, but who would buy them any way,a team like real should do that i guess [;)].
Not a single player i can name who raised to the occasion and stand up and say I will do this for my country and zillions of passionate cricket fanatics back home ,if not for my self. If u cant sustain pressure and expectations of billion people you don't deserve to be in the side,who ever it may be Sachin, Sourav,Sewag or for that matter any member in team.I cant express my feelings how sad I am that India has not reached the next stage of world cup,Idon't see Bermuda beating Bangladesh tomorrow even if they beat them,Indians don't deserve to go into the next stage.Indians should not take further part in the world cup , i guess Bangladesh deserves much more credit who portrayed much more passion enthusiasm, spirit,fight,aggression which is/was lacking in the Indian side ... " I know that it is only a game of cricket , but for me it is much more than that."
